Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid): Vitamin C is one of the more powerful and well-known antioxidants, it helps to maintain healthy collagen in the skin, repair damaged tissue, promote healthy teeth and bones, and boost the immune system.
Selenium: is a major antioxidant nutrient, protects cell membranes and prevents free radical generation thereby decreasing the risk of cancer and disease of the heart and blood vessels. Medical surveys show that increased selenium intake decreases the risk of breast, colon, lung and prostate cancer. Selenium also preserves tissue elasticity; slows down the aging and hardening of tissues through oxidation; helps in the treatment and prevention of dandruff.
Milk Thistle (Silyburn marianum):is most well known as a proven and effective herb for liver and gallbladder disorders.
Jerusalem artichoke: protects glutathione levels, stimulates liver activity by promoting circulation within the liver. Stimulates synthesis of bile, a product of the liver that supports detoxification and the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients.
N-Acetyl Cysteine: a substance which is converted within the body to cysteine, an amino acid that is a component of glutathione, a major cellular antioxidant.
Dandelion (root extract); benefits liver functions and has been used for centuries to treat liver disorders, especially jaundice. Dandelion is also an effective diuretic, it helps to increase the flow of urine stemming from liver problems.
Schizandra (Schisandra chineses) (berry): as a tonic effect throughout the whole body. They are traditionally used for exhaustion, low libido, insomnia, and liver problems. In chinese medicine they are also used to strengthen the kidneys and restore the fluid balance in the body.
